05/15/2020 Raleigh, NC – The MNCO Board of Directors voted unanimously last evening to postpone the Miss NC/MNCOTeen Competitions to June 2021. The decision was made out of an abundance of caution during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our Board collected feedback from our local organizations and titleholders regarding the competition and the impact of COVID-19,” noted Beth Knox, MNCO Executive Director. “The safety of our local organizations, titleholders and their families as well as the current economic situation played a large factor in our decision.”

The Miss America Organization previously announced the postponement of the 2021 Miss America Competition to the fourth quarter of 2021.

Details regarding the 2021 competitions will be announced as finalized.
