8/16/18 Raleigh, NC – The Miss North Carolina Scholarship Organization announced today the selection of High Point, NC as the host city for the 2019 Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen Competition. The event will coincide with the organization’s Work Weekend for the Miss North Carolina candidates.

“The Miss North Carolina Organization is extremely appreciative of our partners in High Point that have worked hard to make this event an enjoyable experience for our candidates and local organizations, said Beth Knox, Executive Director of the MNCPO. “A special thank you to the High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau, Red Lion Hotel, Business High Point – Chamber of Commerce, and the High Point Theatre.”

“We are excited that High Point has been chosen to host the 2019 Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen Pageant” says Tim Mabe, president and CEO of the High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau.  “This competition will generate almost half a million in economic impact, which is great for High Point!  We look forward to working with Beth Knox and the rest of the team at Miss North Carolina to make 2019 the best year ever!”

MNCOTeen 2019 will host two preliminary competitions on April 12th & 13th at the High Point Theatre with crowning on Sunday, April 14th. Tickets will be on sale in early 2019.
