06/22/19 Raleigh, NC – Alexandra Badgett, representing Jacksonville in the Miss North Carolina Competition, was crowned Miss North Carolina 2019 in Raleigh’s Memorial Auditorium. Badgett promoted her social impact initiative of “N.I.N.E – No Is Not Enough,” aiming to deepen the message of the anti-rape anthem “no means no.” She tapped to “Suit and Tie” in the talent competition.
Badgett will represent North Carolina in the Miss America 2020 competition.
